Justice and equality for the vulnerable.
Girls and women fall victim to various forms of abuse namely: property grabbing, sexual gender based violence (SGBV).To reduce inequalities for women and girls the organisation conducts awareness campaigns against SGBV in communities and it provides directs support to survivors of various forms of SGBV through counselling, mediation, access to documentation(birth certificates) providing court support services through drafting of court summons/papers to claim maintenance, guardianship and custody free of charge so as to empower the vulnerable groups who are not able to incur legal fees.
We further support women and girls to access inheritance, equal asset ownership in marriages and to take up positions of leadership in various levels from community level. To strengthen their participation in the household and community economic dynamics, Trinity Project supports women and girls to be economic self-sufficient through self-help initiatives, business entrepreneurship and live skills development. These interventions seek to contribute to the realization of SDG 16 (Indicator 16.2) and SDG 5 (indicator 5.1,5.2,5.3)
